Our Mission Statement
The Library's Teen Services Department is dedicated to assisting middle school and high school students by providing books, resources, programs, and events to help them develop into young adults.
Leadership & Volunteer Opportunities
Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Become a part of the community by joining the Teen Advisory Board (TAB). This group give students a chance to share ideas, plan events, and make a difference in the library community.
Open to students in 9th - 12th grade.
Middle School Advisory Board (MSAB)
Become a part of the community by joining the Middle School Advisory Board (MSAB). This group give students a chance to share ideas, plan events, and make a difference in the library community. Open to students in 6th - 8th grade.
Reading Reward Program
Reading for school? Love diving into new literature? Start tracking your books in the Beanstack App!
East Lake Community Library runs a program called 100 Books Before Graduation. The goal is to read 100 books before you graduate high school. All types of reading counts; including chapter books, nonfiction, graphic novels, comics, manga, audiobooks, and ebooks.
