The East Lake Advisory Board plays a crucial role in guiding the East Lake Community Library's mission and vision. Comprised of dedicated community members, the board provides valuable insights and recommendations to ensure the library meets the needs and expectations of our patrons. The board collaborates with library staff to develop strategic plans, advocate for resources, advise the director on matters relating to the library, public service, the library budget, and other library related issues. They also act as Library representatives within the community.

 

Board members bring diverse perspectives and expertise, fostering a strong connection between the library and the community it serves. Their commitment helps shape the library's services, ensuring they remain relevant, inclusive, and beneficial to all.

Meetings

Advisory Board meetings are open to the public. Monthly meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm.  Planning to attend? Please call ahead to confirm the meeting date and time as it may occasionally change.
