Passport Services
IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR EAST LAKE PATRONS: Due to a recent federal review of the types of facilities that can offer passport services, East Lake Library must halt passport services, effective December 1st, 2025. This change uniquely impacts our library because we operate as a non-profit, unlike other government-affiliated libraries in the region.
-
Appointments scheduled through the end of November 2025 will be honored.
-
We will continue to offer passport photos for $12!
We know this is a significant loss for our community. Residents will now need to travel outside East Lake for passport appointments.
Want to help? Contacting your congressional representatives can make a difference! They have the power to advocate for policy changes or exceptions that allow non-profit libraries like ours to continue offering passport services. Your voice helps show that this service is essential to the residents of North Pinellas County and beyond.
