Pasco County Residents

Who may get a FREE Pinellas County cooperative library card?  Any Pinellas County property or business owner or Pinellas County teacher not living in Pinellas County.  Exceptions: The communities of Belleair, Belleair Beach, Belleair Bluffs, Indian Shores, Kenneth City, and South Pasadena are not members of the Cooperative. (See Non-Resident Card.)

 

Acceptable proof of identity and residence:

Driver's license or learner's permit or State of Florida ID card and photo ID.  (If the address on the card is not your current address, please bring a utility bill, lease agreement, or property deed as proof of address.)  Children ages 4-17 need school ID and proof of Pinellas County address.

Pasco County residents would need to register their Pasco County library cards in Pinellas County to use most of the services available.  E-book and other online databases such as Overdrive, Ancestry, Hoopla, and CloudLibrary, are not available to Pasco County cardholders.

 

 

Acceptable proof of identity and residence:

Photo ID with current address + Pasco library card needed for PPLC Cooperative registration.  (Pasco residents who want full access to online resources may pay non-resident fee, $100 per year or $25 per quarter.)

Individuals NOT residing nor owning a business within an area that participates in the Cooperative may purchase one-year membership for $100 per household per year (or $25 per quarter).

Individuals 18 years and older, visiting in the zip codes 34685, 34688, 34677 (East Lake Woodlands only) for one to six months, may be issued a local visitor card.  Card may only be used at issuing library.
