EAST LAKE COMMUNITY LIBRARY

East Lake Community Library is expanding its resources for people living with dementia, their care partners, and other community members with five new dementia-friendly materials and resources. The five unique kits available for checkout are: On the Road, 60's Music, Dogs, Let's Move, and World Traveler.

 

Funding for these resources was provided by the Florida State University North and Central Florida Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) grant, FSU REACH, from the Health Resources and Services Administration. Click here for more info about REACH.

All kits are free to checkout with your library card. Kits are available for a 14-day loan period. Limit of one kit per borrower, with no holds or renewals allowed. Borrowers must be at least 18 years old with a Pinellas library card in good standing.

Did You Know?

We offer a Dementia Caregiver and Support Group at the library on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
