Chromebook gets factory reset by IT staff every time it is returned to the library.

You will need a google account to use the Chromebook. You can browse as a guest, but you won't be able to do much as a guest besides browse the internet.

Initial setup requires a WiFi connection.

The Chromebook gets factory reset by IT staff when you return it. The next user won't have any access to your accounts or see any trace of you or your activity.
